We had the task of designing a set of postcards for Nord Süd Verlag from Zurich. The idea was to design something playful and colourful that conveys the values and identity of the children's book publisher. In addition, it should be easy to handle and clear. The postcard set consists of two parts. The first part consists of a cardboard punch that can be folded into a small booklet. Two postcards can be inserted into this booklet on each side. The different colouring of the edge creates a very beautiful play of colours that takes up the colourfulness of the content and transports it to the outside. The title page is embossed to enhance the tactile experience of the combination of materials. The booklet is enclosed by a simple ribbon with a map prominently displayed on the front. On the back is a reduced representation of the entire contents. This gives the end customer a good overview of the contents without having to open the postcard set.

On special occasions such as birthdays, weddings or christenings, Miss Müller likes to send chocolates to friends and customers. We were asked to design a suitable packaging solution for these occasions. The aim was to develop a packaging that functions as a greeting card and at the same time as a gift / postal packaging. The idea, folded cardboard + card = packaging. The card can be produced and written on easily and individually and serves as a packaging closure. The folded cardboard embeds, fixes and protects the chocolate and arouses curiosity when unwrapping.

Injection moulding with 30% wood content, economical, ecological, these are the keywords of the new Greenline series from Sulzer. With these aspects in mind, we designed a mailing in which we made conscious use of resources. That means we reduced the elements used to a sensible level. The product holder, for example, is the size of a business card when open. The inside of the packaging also serves to hold the message / correspondence. The message was printed directly onto the corrugated cardboard packaging. The address label, in addition to its pure function for the postman, also serves as a seal for the packaging. All in all, a conscious use of resources and a successful attempt to save them where it makes sense and is possible.
